Locating the
Novar Arms Hotel
From Inverness
Airport
Leave the airport grounds and turn left onto the B9039, follow this road
for 2 miles. At the T juntion turn right onto the A96 toward Inverness.
Continue for 3 miles until you reach the A9 - join the A9 North, cross
the Kessock Bridge above the Moray Firth and follow the dual carrigeway
to "Tore", follow the A9 north along a single carrigeway for
approximately 6 or so miles then cross a low level bridge over the Cromarty
Firth - When you reach the end of the bridge, continue right onto the
A9, the junction for "Evanton" is a mile or so on the left hand
side, take the turn and follow this road till you reach the Novar Arms
Hotel which is also on the left hand side.
By Train
Leave the train station and head for Academy Street along the B865, head
toward the A82, at the junction for the A82, turn right toward the A9,
join the A9 and follow it North, cross the Kessock Bridge above the Moray
Firth and follow the dual carrigeway to "Tore", follow the A9
north along a single carrigeway for approximately 6 or so miles then cross
a low level bridge over the Cromarty Firth - When you reach the end of
the bridge, continue right onto the A9, the junction for "Evanton"
is a mile or so on the left hand side, take the turn and follow this road
till you reach the Novar Arms Hotel which is also on the left hand side.
Travelling
North
From Inverness follow the A9 north, cross the Kessock Bridge above the

Travelling
South
Follow the A9 South passing Tain, Invergordon, Alness, Take the turn on
the right named "skiach services, continue along this road until
you see a signpost directing you left to "evanton", follow this
road for approximately 2 miles until you reach Evanton - the Novar Arms
is located on the right hand side of the road.
